Kelompok orang berasaskan makan ...
1. Bila nak makan?
Tak tau bila next meal going to happen. Ibarat macam ayam kais pagi makan pagi, kais petang makan petang. Hardcore poor. Macam dalam Bersamamu TV3. Kesian
2. Apa nak makan?
Next meal dah confirm tapi apa benda tak tau lagi. Ayam ka, ikan kering
ka, nasi + tempe + telur masin. Ikut konsep rezeki, confirm rezeki ada, banyak dengan sikit saja. Syukur
3. Mana nak makan?
Alhamdulillah. Dah boleh susun. Bila nak makan and apa nak makan, dah sampai tahap kat mana kita nak makan. Dah boleh pilih la, macam steak kalau: Mama Chop or TGI? Tony Roma's?
4. Nak belanja sapa makan? kat mana? bila?
Tak dak hal la ... kira sebut saja ON saja la
Syukur Alhamdulillah
RISK ataupun RISIKO dari segi linguistik berasal dari perkataan Arab RIZQ
bermaksud REZEKI. Dan konsep rezeki ni bukan sekadar duit, wang ringgit, material ataupun makanan. REZEKI mencakupi segalanya MASA dengan anak, keluarga, KESIHATAN, AKAL FIKIRAN, KETENANGAN dan SELURUH aturan kehidupan. OXYGEN, dsb nya. BOLEH KENCING pun satu rezeki, tak caya tanya orang yang kena batu karang and pesakit buah pinggang yg depends on dialisis treatment dah tak akan kencing!

Bicameral
bi·cam·er·al
Function: adjective
Etymology: bi- + Late Latin camera chamber — more at chamber
Date: 1856
: having, consisting of, or based on two legislative chambers
— bi·cam·er·al·ism \ noun
The Dewan Negara (literally "National Hall") or Senate is the upper house of the Parliament of Malaysia. The Senate consists of 70 members, of which 26 are indirectly elected by the states, with two senators for every state in the Federation, and the other 44 being appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King). The Senate reviews legislation that has been passed by the lower house of Parliament, the Dewan Rakyat; both meet at the Houses of Parliament in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Both houses must pass a bill before it can be sent to the King for royal assent; however, if the Dewan Negara rejects a bill, it can only delay the bill's passage by a year (at the most) before it is sent to the King.
Each of the 13 state legislative assemblies chooses 2 Senators. The term of office is 3 years and Senators can only be re-elected once, consecutively or non-consecutively. The King appoints two Senators for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, and one respectively for the Federal Territories of Labuan and Putrajaya on the advice of the Prime Minister. Another 40 Senators, regardless of their states, are appointed by the King, also on the Prime Minister's advice.
The intent of the original Constitution of Malaysia, which provided for only 16 Senators to be appointed by the King (thus placing them in the minority) was to give the states some say over federal policy. However, subsequent amendments have, according to former Lord President of the Federal Court Tun Mohamed Suffian Mohamed Hashim, acted "contrary to the spirit of the original constitution which established the Senate specially as a body to protect in the federal Parliament, state interests against federal encroachments"
Norhisham Mutalib speaks his mind:
Something is wrong somewhere when a member of AN UPPER HOUSE resigned and choose to be elected in the LOWER HOUSE (he lost anyway!). What's the purpose of having a upper house anyway?
Obama is coming from the Senatorship (upper house as well) track to the White House while Bush and Clinton came from the Governorship track.
OK fine, some will says that we have a Westminster style Parliament, the hell with the American system!
Should we amend the ratio and have some elected Senators to our Senate?
or Should we use the British's House of Lords approach, have 20 of our TUNs to be Senators (King's Appointments). All TUNs are prominent and respected figures and the TUNship are limited to 40 only at a time (20 1st Order Tuns and 20 2nd Order Tuns). I am not a Constitutional expert (for God sake i'm a communications engineer and not a lawyer!), can't we do something about it?
I am concerned because we should uphold the prestige of our Senate, it is not a mere rubber stamp equipment or political stepping stone!

SMS 1
Salam Perjuangan. UMNO/BN kalah lagi. Tak guna tuding jari, selaku ahli UMNO kita juga bsalah. Apa sumbangan & sudahkah kita (pemimpin) menjalankan tanggungjawab kpd ahli caw? Pelbagaikan prog caw & ketepikan segala sengketa. UMNO Caw perlu diperkuatkan semula & Pengundi Muda wajib dipikat menyokong perjuangan UMNO. Pemilihan UMNO sudah berakhir & usaha/perancangan perlu dimulakan dgn kadar segera. Jika kita tak bersatu dr sekarang, lupakan saja PRU13- Fariz KCA (19-Jan-2009 7.19 pm)

Salam adindaku Fariz, berpijaklah dibumi nyata. UMNO bukan lagi berjuang untuk bangsanya..tapi individu. Pemilihan telah berakhir, tapi pemilihan yg diadakan mcm Sarkas kah yg kita mahukan? Akhirnya yg dipilih hanya Badut Sarkas juga. perbanyakkan program caw bukan jln penyelesaiannya.. Pemimpin UMNO tlh hilang integriti & hanya berdiam diri utk poket sendiri. K.O (19-Jan-2009 10.16 pm)
Nota:
1. Sila rujuk Battle of Batu 2008
2. SMS published As is Where is
3. Program ..... ??? Sila tonton Man Laksa and read between the lines.
4. Cawangan ??? Ahli UMNO ??? Don't just talk about this people, please id the whole voters
Average ahli UMNO di P115 pendidikan SPM/Sijil, only few got Diploma and Bachelor Degree.
Look at the new SENTUL: The Capers, Saffrons, Sentul West, these are the Upper-Middle or Lower-Upper enclave of KL's new premium boroughs. More sophisticated and educated people. Can we penetrate them? They are voters too ...
And don't forget most houses in few other old tamans in Jalan Ipoh, e.g. the old link house behind The Store Batu 5 (you can see from the outside) hang the pix of their kids with caps, gowns & scrolls (mostly weird gowns without any songket imprint aka OVERSEAS uni gowns). They are voters too .... highly EDUCATED voters
Seriously, we need to review our 'Man Laksa' approach if we want to win back voters, and we need people with an IQ level higher than the room temperature and good EQ to do this!

Life is a highway
The DUKE highway's Greenwood Exit is about 1 km away from our new home.
Suddenly, the tunes of Rascall's Flat, Disney's Cars theme song started playing in my head.
Just something to ponder:
Sometime I feel as if the whole life really like highways, boulevards, avenues and alleys.
You may face a detour here and there.
You may stuck in the massive jam, turning the whole stretch into a huge parking lots.
When you thought that you're almost there, then you'll see the policeman asking you to turn somewhere.
Even worst, when you take the DBP ramp from the Istana Negara road at 6pm weekdays, you know your destination, you know that you gonna be there, but you don't know when!
Just notice that, the pole position car at the traffic light when red is the guy that can't get through during the last green light, they have to stop and wait.
Hmmm .... Happy Tuesday then.

Hijrah 2009
In conjuction with the Awal Muharram we moved to a new place that is not so new.
My wife was bred and raised there for the first 16 years of her life before the whole family shifted to Alor Star.
The house was then occupied by various people, family and tenants for almost full cycle of Chinese Lunar Zodiac.
The place itself is actually older than me!
It is a sad feeling for us when we cleared our Shah Alam's coccoon, we were so used with the area and know almost everyone in the vicinity. The big Akak (KAK G) that sells nasik lemak, Matthias the tailor, the DVD adik, banks people, the 'boss' at the pasar mini that always keep stock of Teh Botol for me, the starbucks crew and many more.
Not to forget the people that we consider as our extended household: Faizal (thanks for helping angkat barang!) and Maria and the kids; Nanna & Family; Mr. Bonggo, Jaja and the Kamari Boys; and all the familiar faces that knows Tich on a first name basis.
I started to feel like Dickens, it is a real Tales of Two Cities (although it is just a change of borough actually).
Anyway, a new place marks a new beginning and two new year celebrations in few days is something very special for our Hijrah, for a better tomorrow.
Happy Awal Muharram and New Year!
p/s: I love this new area but I left my heart in Shah Alam.
